| We celebrated Jesus's birthday early this year. Luke enjoyed opening presents. Now he has a few days to play with them before we leave for the flatlands. At the end of the day he asked for more presents.
Kai has been so cute this afternoon. He talked and laughed alot. Now he is napping. I was hoping to run some errands, but I'm not sure if there will be time before Kai is hungry again. Probably won't update this until next year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Hopefully we will see most of you when we are back in the flatlands.
Present from Aunt Karen and family...

| I am thankful that we have friends to spend Thanksgiving with, but will miss my family too. We are going to a friends house for Thanksgiving. They said they like to take in strays although they are not serving Turkey. I may have to make a turkey soon...
Luke is a squirrel-ly as ever. I feel like we have to get out each morning or we will drive each other nuts. He is speaking so much more these days - trying really hard to use sentences and pronouns. He is enjoying preschool. He comes home with an art project or two every week. He likes their playground. The other day I think he started singing a song that they must of sung at preschool. He seems to think that it is fun to growl in Kai's face. It doesn't seem to bother Kai unless he is tired. Then he will cry. Kai is growing so fast. I think he will be in 6-9 month clothes by Christmas. He is already wearing a few of the smaller ones. He is typically a happy and content baby. He likes to hold onto spit up cloths or bibs now. I think he has the potential to be a kid with an attachment to a blanket.
I sat Kai on the couch, so I could put on a dvd for Luke. When I turned around, Luke was laying next to Kai.
