Kai is growing so fast.  He has started sucking his thumb more.  He is using his hands more, and loves to kick when he is on his back.  He almost always has a smile for us.  The other night he was laughing as he was falling asleep....so cute!

Luke is not really into dressing up for Halloween.  I bought him a football jersey thinking it was more like normal clothes.  I had to bribe him to wear it.  Friday night he trick-or-treated a little at a local mall.  He said he wanted a tiger costume, so we went to look and didn't find anything.  I told him if he wore the jersey then he could have some candy.  The next day we had a party with his playgroup at a pumpkin patch.  They had lots of jump houses which he loved.  We didn't go out Saturday night.

Luke is starting to ask for things at the store.  I tell him he should ask for them for Christmas.  He says he is going to ask Grandpa for them for Christmas.

When I ask Luke what he wants for Christmas, he says a Christmas tree.  I think we can do that :)

Luke was asking to take his feet off the other day...This morning he wanted to buy a new foot.

Not much new around here besides that our nephew was born today (to Aaron's brother Joe).  Both my boys are sleeping, although I think Kai will want to eat soon.

Luke made this mask at preschool.

We had a great time at Karen's.  The boys were great on the plane.  Luke loved seeing his cousins and having someone to play with all the time.  It was fun to watch Luke and Eli play together.  They would kick a soccer ball back and forth (after I explained to Luke what to do) and take turns pitching/batting with ball/bat.  Luke is back on our time already.

Kyle started crawling while we were there...One day we had Luke and Eli in matching clothes.  Strangers thought they were twins.

Last weekend Luke wanted to check Kai's heartbeat, so he pulled out his medical kit.  He also checked Kai's ears and blood pressure.  Luke said he was healthy.  Tuesday Kai had his 2 month appointment.  He is 23 inches (55%) and 11lb 10oz. (50%).  His head is smaller than Luke's was at that age.  Maybe that is why I have recovered so much faster this time.  Kai is already into his 3-6 month and 6 month clothes...

We are staying busy with bible studies, playgroup, MOPs, going to the park, etc.  Luke is also ready for a new pair of shoes.  We went to the place where he got his last pair, and they don't have the same style anymore.  Luke is very particular about his shoes.  He was asking for Lightening McQueen ones, but when I showed him two styles, he said he didn't want them.  I am just going to buy some that I like and then he won't be able to leave the house until he puts them on.

Last weekend we converted Luke's crib to a toddler bed.  I think he really likes being able to get into his bed on his own.  We haven't had any problems with him getting out when he is not suppose to yet.

Tomorrow we plan to go to the community pancake breakfast at a firestation.  Luke and I went last year, and I think he will like it even more this year.

Here are pictures of Luke and Kai wearing the same outfit.

Kai is growing so fast.  I'm starting to put away some 3 month clothes and get out the 3-6 month clothes.  Although his newborn pants still fit him.  He has a long torso.  Luke is a great big brother.  He will play with Kai every so often and enjoys giving Kai his pacifier.  Luke has a firetruck that he used to not like when it would go forward on its own.  He asked for it to make noise the other day, so we turned it on.  He would push it and then run to my lap.  After awhile he was brave enough to touch it while it was going.  Now he has no qualms about it.

My dad is here visiting.  Luke and Kai are enjoying his attention.  Yesterday we went on a short hike.  Here are some pictures.
